Classic Productions - Production process

With a Classic Media Group producer and client working as a team every step of the way, everything falls easily into place easily and efficiently. The finished product - a very powerful solution that will quickly offer a tangible return on investment.

Through experience we've learned that to ensure the process goes smoothly, staying on time and budget, is key. Therefore the client must be an informed partner in the video production process. Your approval is needed at each stage before we can proceed onto the next step. Since many clients aren't familiar with the process, we've summarized some of the key simple steps. Overall, there are three major phases of video production:

  • Pre-Production: Research, planning and coordination for the project, including scriptwriting.
  • Production: The actual videotaping or filming.
  • Post-Production: Includes all editing, audio mixing, graphics, titles, narration, music and duplication.

PRE-PRODUCTION: Define the Purpose

The video process begins by choosing the purpose of your video. Any effective communication is defined by clarity of purpose. Your corporate video should be created to convey one single message, promote a single product or service, or express one singular goal or intent. The key to a successful video is keeping it simple and limited to a solitary goal or intent. A cluttered disorganized product will leave the audience confused.

Identify the Target Audience:

For your video to be right on target we must know exactly who we're trying to reach. Clients, employees? Or Management ? gender and age, all need to be considered. Once identified we can choose the style, pacing and music so the product can have the desired effect.
